The future of accessibility and neurotechnology is being built by startups that combine creativity, science, and purpose.
At Re-Moving Minds: Neurotechnology Applied to Re-Habilitation (the XXXVII Technical Symposia of the Institut Guttmann) Aurax joined a session dedicated to “Startups that are already revolutionizing neurorehabilitation and neuroscience”.
Moderated by Dr. Eloy Opisso, the conversation brought together four pioneering projects that are expanding the boundaries of what’s possible in neurotechnology and digital autonomy.

From INBRAIN Neuroelectronics, advancing precision neurology through graphene-based innovation, to Improfit.ai, applying artificial intelligence to interactive and personalized rehabilitation, and Robopedics, developing robotic solutions that support recovery: each project shared a unique approach to improving people’s lives through technology.
Aurax participated by presenting MouthX, our intraoral, hands-free control device that enables and enhances digital access and interaction for anyone, including people with reduced mobility.

For us, taking part in this session went beyond technology. It was about joining a conversation that connects accessibility, human potential, and innovation; a shared vision of technology that empowers, not excludes.
Innovation that listens
At Aurax, we believe that true innovation starts with listening. MouthX was born from a simple but powerful question: “What do you need?”. A reminder that technology should always begin with human experience.

In a space where neuroscience and digital access meet, our goal is clear: to make control, communication, and connection possible through inclusive design that adapts to each person.
What stood out during Re-Moving Minds was the diversity of perspectives, and the shared conviction among startups that technology can and should improve autonomy.
INBRAIN, Improfit.ai, Robopedics, and Aurax represent a new wave of innovation that doesn’t just aim for progress, but for inclusion. Together, we’re helping build an ecosystem where AI, accessibility, and human-centered technology come together to redefine how people interact with the world.
Looking ahead
We are deeply grateful to the Institut Guttmann for creating a space where innovation, science, and empathy converge.
Participating in Re-Moving Minds was an inspiring reminder that the future of technology isn’t just about advancing systems; it’s about advancing people.
